City holiday home VulkaneifelThe large holiday home is located in the centre of the beautiful small town and holiday resort of Daun, in the immediate vicinity of many sights and excursion destinations.The City Holiday Home Vulkaneifel is a combination of the two holiday flats "Daun" and "Vulkaneifel". It can therefore be booked as a complete house with 185 square metres of living space, outdoor terrace and garden area (behind the house).The holiday home extends over 4 floors and can accommodate up to 14 people. It has 5 separate double bedrooms, including a small additional flat (accessible via a spiral staircase to the attic / gallery), 3 living/bedrooms with 3 double sofa beds. Dining area downstairs with large dining table for everyone, decorative electric fireplace in the living room downstairs. Additional 2nd dining area on the upper floor, 4 x HD TV in each living room and in the upstairs bathroom, 4 x DVD players, CD player, radio and USB connection in 3 living rooms, ceiling fan, games etc.Highspeed Internet / WLAN / Wireless / Wifi: free of charge in all rooms! The terrace borders the busy street and pavement to the front and a small urban park to the side. Due to the central location of the house, the terrace is enclosed by a fence and a hedge. The separate entrance to the house leads into the house from the street via the terrace.A quiet garden area with lawn, seating area, 2nd barbecue, fountain and a children's play tower (2 swings, slide, sandpit) is also located behind the house and can also be used.An ornamental gravel area has been lovingly and elaborately laid out on the outside of the house. With a fountain and a small waterfall.The house and the outdoor facilities are very attractively illuminated in the evening and at night in a play of colours with LED spotlights.Due to the size of the holiday home, we are also happy to rent it out to larger families or groups.If you would like to book the holiday home with just a few people, this is also possible.However, the basic price is then always calculated on the basis of the minimum occupancy of 7 people!New: 2 saunas with 3D floor (for exclusive use, free of charge)!A storage room and an additional room with washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the basement of the house. Here you will also find cleaning equipment, a hoover and cleaning products.The equipment includes: 2 x microwave, 4 coffee machines (2 x pad, 2 x filter), 2 toasters and 2 kettles. Pots and pans as well as cutlery and crockery for the maximum possible number of people are of course available. Cots and high chairs can be provided free of charge.The holiday home also has plenty of free parking spaces behind the house. Bicycles and motorbikes can be stored in a garage.Many sights and leisure facilities are just a few minutes' walk away. Shopping, restaurants, cafes, a large cinema, a municipal indoor swimming pool and a wellness hotel are just around the corner or nearby.A large supermarket and 2 bakeries (also with Sunday sales) are only about 100 to 150 metres away.The 3 lakes are only 2 to 3 kilometres away. Visit the beautiful spa gardens in Daun or Germany's largest zoo approx. 3 km away.The Wehrbüsch hiking area with access to the maars is only approx. 600 to 700 metres away.A large, newly built public children's playground is only 100 metres away.Important notice:We do not rent out the beautiful holiday home as a party location.Many sights and leisure facilities are only a few minutes' walk away. Shopping, restaurants, cafés, cinema, wellness and indoor swimming pool are just around the corner. A large children's playground, a large supermarket and three bakeries (also with Sunday sales) are only approx. 100 to 150 metres away. Visit the beautiful spa gardens in Daun or the Wehrbüsch hiking area with access to the Maaren (600 m to 700 m away). The small, cosy district town of Daun (approx. 7,500 inhabitants) is situated at an altitude of approx. 400 to 500 metres. Daun is considered the centre of the Volcanic Eifel. Idyllically situated, the holiday resort of Daun is an excellent starting point for the many excursion destinations. The three Daun lakes (Maaren) are only two to four kilometres away. You can enjoy swimming, boating, fishing and many other water sports here. The Daun Wildlife and Adventure Park and its summer toboggan run are just 2 kilometres away. The world-famous Nürburgring race track is only about 18 km away. One of the most beautiful cycle paths in Germany, the Maare - Mosel cycle path (former railway line to the Mosel), starts and ends in Daun. Bicycles can also be hired cheaply in Daun. In the well-known tourist town of Daun, the volcano museum, the indoor swimming pool, many small shops and good restaurants invite you to visit. The Moselle is also not far away. We recommend a trip to Cochem, Traben-Trarbach, Bernkastel or Trier, the oldest city in Germany. The neighbouring countries of Luxembourg, Belgium and France are also well worth a visit. The world-famous Nürburgring with its wide range of events and leisure facilities is very popular with visitors. Or visit one of the countless castles and palaces in the region. Other excursion destinations: Various animal parks, observatory, bell foundry, beekeeping, volcano museum in Daun, Maar museum in Manderscheid, volcano house and volcano adventure trail in Strohn, geo-route, geological excursions, adventure park, visit to the Eifel Nature Park, etc. The Eifel is also very well known for its artists and writers. The successful Eifel crime novels are particularly popular. The Eifel crime thriller festival "Tatort Eifel" attracts many visitors to Daun and the region time and again. The Volcanic Eifel is a true hiking paradise. Two well-known hiking trails are the Lieserpfad and the Eifelsteig.
